Cerelle is a progesterone-only (POP) based contraceptive taken orally to prevent pregnancy. This pill is unique as it allows a 12 hour missed duration. It contains the synthetic hormone desogestrel, which stops ovulation and makes it hard for the sperm to fertilise the egg. Cerelle pill is an excellent option for breastfeeding mothers and those allergic to oestrogen. The cycle contains 28 tablets.
