Welcome to WePrescribe (www.weprescribe.co.uk). By using our website and services, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before you use our services. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Eligibility to use our services

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have the capacity to make your own healthcare decisions.
  • You must live in the UK (unless we state otherwise for specific services).

Your responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information in all forms and questionnaires.
  • Use prescribed treatments only for yourself.
  • Read and follow all instructions and patient information leaflets provided with your medication.
  • Inform us and your GP about any side effects, health changes, or concerns.
  • Keep your account login details secure and not share them with anyone else.

Consultations and questionnaires

  • Our services include online questionnaires and video consultations with our pharmacists.
  • You must provide honest and complete information during these assessments.
  • We may need to verify your identity before providing certain treatments or services.
  • We do not guarantee that you will receive a prescription or treatment after your consultation. Our clinicians decide based on their professional judgment.
  • Some conditions require face-to-face examinations or further tests, and we may refer you to your GP or another healthcare provider.

Prescriptions and treatment

  • Our clinicians will only prescribe medicines if it is safe and appropriate.
  • We do not supply certain medicines, including controlled drugs, strong painkillers, sedatives, or medicines that require specialist monitoring.
  • We may require a video consultation before prescribing certain treatments (for example, some weight management products).
  • For certain services, we are required to inform your GP. In other cases, we will offer to inform your GP, but you can decline. If you decline, it is your responsibility to share this information with your GP.

Delivery and dispatch

  • We aim to dispatch most orders the same or the next working day. Some medicines requiring refrigeration may take an extra 1–2 working days.
  • For antibiotics and certain urgent treatments, same-day dispatch is required for safe use. If we are unable to dispatch the same day, we may decline the request and issue a full refund.
  • We use trusted delivery partners such as Royal Mail. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control.
  • We advise all customers to get in touch with us regarding any issues with delivery within 24 hours of the expected delivery date so that we may investigate this further.
  • Some items dispatched from WePrescribe require a signature, these include weight loss injections such as Wegovy and Mounjaro. Please note that Royal Mail are able to deliver this medication to a neighbour as per their terms and conditions. WePrescribe provides you with your tracking information and also Royal Mail will contact you with regards to tracking, if the package is delivered to your neighbour it is your responsibility to contact or visit your neighbour to retrieve this as soon as practically possible or inform WePrescribe within the first 24 hours if there are any concerns.

Payments, refunds, and cancellations

  • Payment must be made in full before your consultation or order is confirmed.
  • For video consultations:
    • You can cancel free of charge up to 4 hours before your appointment.
    • If you cancel with less than 4 hours’ notice, you will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If we decide not to provide a treatment or prescription after your consultation, you may be entitled to a refund, depending on the service and circumstances.
  • You are entitled for a full refund if a cancellation request is made within 2 hours, outside of this timeframe cancellation is generally not considered but may be considered in exceptional circumstances but this will be at discretion of management. Please see here our refunds and return policy for further details. 
  • Each refund request is considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • For weight loss injection pens such as Wegovy, Saxenda and Mounjaro if there is a technical issue with the pen where it malfunctions or does not work as would be expected please understand that WePrescribe is only the supplier and not the manufacturer therefore we can not take any responsibility for issues relating to this and as such we will be unable to offer a replacement pen or refund at that time as further investigation will be required.
  • Please note that all patients whom believe they have experienced a technical issue with a pen where it has malfunctioned will be required to in the first instance send the faulty pen back to WePrescribe, where we will then arrange for the pen to be sent back to the relevant manufacturer, WePrescribe will pay each customer for the return postage of the faulty pen as a goodwill gesture, a receipt to prove the postage cost will be required however. Following this the manufacturer will then investigate the pen device upon receipt and if they deem there to have been an issue with the device that is a device related issue they will then provide us directly with a refund for the device which we will then pass onto you as a customer. Please note that manufacturers can take up to 45 days to investigate and comment on each case so we advise customers to order their next treatment pen if there is a fault with their initial pen to avoid any delays in treatment.  This process will be completely transparent from a WePrescribe perspective as we will provide each customer whom returns the pen with a unique reference number relating to the investigation which also confirms return to the manufacturer as well as the pending investigation and you will then be able to independently use this tracking number to check the status of your investigation with the relevant manufacturer if you so wish.

Referral Programme and Discount Codes

WePrescribe may offer referral programmes and/or discount codes from time to time. Use of these is subject to the following terms:

  • Referral rewards apply only to eligible weight loss consultations. No other products or services are included unless explicitly stated.
  • Discount codes issued as part of the referral scheme are valid only for selected weight loss-related products and are applied at checkout after a successful consultation. They are not available to use in conjunction with any other promotion or discount code, this includes price matching. If a customer has requested price match with another pharmacy they will not be permitted to use their referral discount code on that transaction.
  • The referred individual (the “referee”) will receive one £40 discount on their next qualifying purchase, provided they complete a paid consultation. One referral equals one £40 reward.
  • Referral links and codes are for personal use only. They are intended solely for sharing with friends or family. They must not be posted publicly, promoted commercially, or shared via discount code websites, online forums, or social media advertisements.
  • Referral code vouchers are restricted to one use per eligible transaction and they can under no circumstance be stacked or have multiple referral voucher codes used in one eligible transaction, this is irrespective of how many referral voucher codes have been obtained by a customer. If a customer has requested price match with another pharmacy they will not be permitted to use their referral discount voucher on the price matched price.
  • Any misuse — including bulk referrals, self-referral, or sharing links on public platforms — may result in cancellation of the reward, order cancellation, or suspension or closure of your account.
  • All consultations and prescriptions remain subject to clinical approval. Referral rewards do not apply to any prescription medication or treatment that falls outside of the selected product range.
  • WePrescribe reserves the right to modify or withdraw referral programmes and discount offers at any time without notice.

Competitions and Prize Draws

From time to time, WePrescribe may run free prize draws or competitions. These are subject to the following rules:

  • Entry is open only to UK residents aged 18 or over.

  • No purchase is necessary.

  • Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries may be disqualified.

  • To enter the £250 Amazon Gift Card prize draw linked to the Meal Preparation Survey (September 2025), participants must provide a valid email address via the survey form.

  • The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

  • One winner will be selected at random after the survey closes. The winner will be notified by email within 14 days. If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, WePrescribe reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

  • WePrescribe reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the competition at any time without notice if circumstances make this unavoidable.

  • By entering, participants agree to these rules and to their name being shared in winner announcements, if required.

Emergencies and urgent care

WePrescribe is not an emergency service.

Call 999 immediately if you or someone else experiences:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Severe chest pain
  • Heavy bleeding that cannot be stopped
  • Sudden severe allergic reactions
  • Severe burns or scalds
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Serious injuries (e.g., major trauma, severe head injuries)
  • Seizures that do not stop
  • Signs of a heart attack or stroke

Your account and security

  • Keep your account details up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you misuse our services or breach these terms.

Marketing and communications

  • We may send you service updates and essential information.
  • We will only send marketing emails if you have given your consent. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by updating your preferences.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will post the new version on our website, and it will take effect immediately. By continuing to use our services, you accept the updated terms.

Limitation of liability

  • We do our best to provide reliable services but we cannot guarantee that our website or services will always be available or error-free.
  • We are not liable for indirect or unforeseen losses or damages.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
