What is Mometasone Nasal Spray used for?
Mometasone nasal spray is used to treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial rhinitis, which include nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny or itchy nose. It is also used for the treatment of nasal polyps, which are painless growths inside the nose.
How should I use Mometasone Nasal Spray?
For allergic rhinitis, the usual dose for adults is 1-2 sprays in each nostril once a day. For nasal polyps, the dose may be increased to twice a day if needed. Always follow the specific instructions provided with your medication or as directed by your doctor.
